MDG Plus in Thailand
Thailand has achieved many of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) well in advance of the global timeframe of 2015, and has set new, ambitious targets that go beyond the original goals. These are known as “MDG Plus”, and are generally taken from already-agreed national plans and strategies.
The table below sets out the MDG Plus targets and compares them with the overall MDGs. More information can be found in the Thailand Millennium Development Goals Report 2004, which set out the MDG Plus targets as a whole for the first time.
